That brings us to this MRI slide, compliments from HSC Specialist Center. Even an untrained eye can detect the abnormality on the disc. There is a bulge and it is pressing on my nerve creating an irritated nerve. Hallaluyah to MRi technology. Amazing! They can pin point exactly where is the problematic area & you are on the right track to recovery. Of course, I still have to go through a tiny non invasive procedure called "Nucleoplasty". A small puncture is made at the side of the abdomen then tiny plasma wires will be inserted into the middle of the buldging disc. It is supposed to remove some tissues which will subsequently decrease the buldge, moving it back into its position. Procedure takes about 1-2 hours.
When is the big day? 30 December 2008. Should be in time to celebrate the new year with a fixed back problem. Here's a really GooOOODDD reason to celebrate the New Year, don't you agree?
