Run for your lives...little Tsunami

M onsoon season..they call it. I  thought  come on.. how  bad  can  it  be? It is  not like  as  though  we are  exposed  to great oceans like  the  Pacific Ocean or likes like  that. Believe me  it  is GREAT  enough!  Despite  being  warned by the  GO's (Gentille Officer.. excuse  the  spelling  if  it's  incorrect) not  to go  for  a swim, I  allowed  my  inner voice  got to  me. The  term  "Water Babies" means  anything to you? So, it  was  the  first  time since  arriving, the wheather  gave us some reprieve.  So  this  little  WB  sneeked off to the beach & was  gaming  to get soaked.  Who wouldn't? Have  you swam in the  South China Seas before?

I wasn't going  to let this opportunity slip by.  Step by step, I inched  my way to the unknown........then  suddenly..I saw  a big one!  It was  not  like  Hawaii 5 O but  big enough!  It came  crashing  against  me  &  really  at  that  point  of  time, you  get  instant  flashbacks... "The New Straits Times -  Tour Guide  swept  away  by Monsoon Waves off Cherating Beach. Body  was  never  found"

A  nyway, all is  not lost  because  the  beaches  are  just  so  spectacular. Long stretches of  sand, as far  as  the  eyes  can see & clean too.  Along  the beaches,  there  are  cute  looking  cradles and  lazy chairs. I am  particularly  fond of  the cradle.  A word  of  advise, "Don't  go to Cherating during  the  monsoon season & expect  it to be  sunny!"
