He came into our lives in a less than perfect circumstances. His early days were harsh and for the most part he was unnoticeble. Only to be fed when the humans have fed themselves full and left chained by the fence.
In a twist of fate or perhaps by sheer chance 13 years ago, this poor dog was noticed by mom and he became a new member of the family, "The Limlings".
Untrusting and unpredictable for the first few years but mom never gave up on him. None of us did. We were constantly reminded , never to hand feed him. Years went past and eventually some of us managed to do just that, hand fed him. Shirlene particularly has an effect on him. She calls him "babyyyy" and he goes weaving between her legs, begging to be caress. He even mumbled sounds as though he was speaking. Mom's love and compassion turned this grouchy, banged up dog into a cute cuddly little thing, we fondly call "Bob". Non fussy eater, loved dog snacks especially after bathing and drying. He loved his toys too, compliments from Queennie.
Bob had his ways with each and everyone of us. He loved to be massage and that was my special moments with him. Eugene's was the greeting at the gates, each time he comes home for the weekend. For the most part, Bob grew old, got to do what a dog does..laze around the house and lived a wonderful dog life in our home.
Bob touched us all in ways that you could never imagined, just as we had in his life and he shall remain forever in our hearts. May he be happy and find enormous love wherever he may be.
We LOVE YOU, BOB
&
We MISS YOU SO MUCH
